To bring Home222 Day to life in a bold, tangible way, we launched a custom-built, limited-time eCommerce experience. The idea was to create a digital destination fans would rush to, offering an exclusive mystery box packed with premium Home2 swag. The website was fully customized, with an unique user experience and content designed to match the fun spirit of Home2 Suites. Once the site went live, fans surged in — 1,366 sessions in total — and within 18 minutes, every mystery box was gone. The drop closed with a flawless 100% sell-through rate and a standout 16.5% conversion rate. Each of the 222 mystery boxes was carefully crafted and shipped directly to the door of winners nationwide. Inside, recipients found a suite of exclusive Home2 items: a cozy branded robe, plush towel, checkered water bottle, custom keychain, and even a Home2 oven mitt — all sourced by our procurement team. The crown jewel? A golden ticket redeemable for a complimentary night at any Home2 Suites location. More than just a giveaway, this eCommerce experience turned a quirky calendar moment into a full-on brand celebration. It drove urgency, excitement, and most importantly, cemented Home2 as more than a place to stay.
