The long-awaited release of Diablo II Resurrected featured a remastered version of the quintessential action RPG Diablo II game. This new and improved game's enhanced graphics take the original storyline fans love to a new level of hellish gameplay. Blizzard Entertainment challenged us to help drive brand awareness around the release — and prepare fans for battle against the Lord of Destruction.

We turned up the heat to drive fan engagement with an unforgettable social giveaway straight from the pits of hell. @Diablo encouraged fans to tweet #HailDiablo + #DiabloPromo to enter for a chance to win. Days leading up to the campaign, we sent influencers VIP kits containing some serious loot to share with their following — gauntlets, bracers, a potion belt, animal skulls, and even human teeth. We randomly selected winners on a first-come, first-serve basis and sent them one of eight uniquely curated dark gift kits delivered on-demand. To scale the campaign nationwide, we sent fans who participated outside of select markets $25 digital reward codes for in-game purchases. Our graphic “dark mode” interface and custom font features on the microsite resembled the Diablo II Resurrected game, bringing the game to life and providing a full-circle experience for fans.
