After an anything-but-normal school year in 2020, DoorDash wanted to help make Back to School season a little less stressful. We teamed up to give scholars everything they need to succeed in the new school year while driving awareness of popular convenience providers on the DoorDash platform.

We built a promotion encouraging students to engage on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for a chance to win back to school essentials. Fans who tweeted #DashToSchool + #Entry, swiped up on the @doordash Instagram story, or clicked the link in their Facebook post were directed to the our microsite to enter their information. Winners in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago received a custom Welcome Backpack delivered to their doorstep via DoorDash, stocked with everything from school supplies to tasty after school snacks. We made sure to maximize campaign scale by shipping prizes in the mail to students outside of on-demand markets, just in time for the first day of school.
