The cancellation of San Diego Comic-Con in 2020 left a huge hole in the hearts of superfans and brands alike. But Prime Video took it on as a challenge to create a cohesive viewing experience for fans at home. We partnered to drive viewership and awareness for the Amazon Virtual Con live-panels with a nationwide social giveaway that rewarded fans with the free at-event perks they’ve come to expect and cherish.

We filled custom kits with an Amazon Virtual Con event lanyard, branded sunglasses, and snacks to enjoy while tuning-in. Fans entered by tweeting out with #AmazonVirtualCon + #Giveaway then following their unique link to the micro-site to enter for a chance to win. We executed a two-day campaign with both overnight and on-demand fulfillment, allowing Prime Video to reward fans anywhere in the nation while driving massive tune-in and conversation around the virtual event.
