Summer is for grilling out — when many consume too many hot dogs and other classic grilling items. And sometimes, heartburn is an unwanted guest to the party. TUMS wanted to help out the hot dog lovers. For National Hot Dog Day, we partnered with the brand to execute a creative social celebration to drive engagements and brand affinity by gifting fans hot dogs and TUMS Chewy Bites.

To drive awareness ahead of the social campaign, we fulfilled VIP deliveries to select influencers who posted #TUMSWORTHY Summer Meal Kits leading up to the holiday. Fans in key markets clicked the link in the TUMS National Hot Dog Day Twitter post, arrived at our microsite for a chance to win their very own on-demand kit delivery. We worked with TUMS to curate premium boxes that included, TUMS Chewy Bites product, four hot dogs and buns, branded hot dog plates and napkins, a bottle of ketchup and mustard, and fun toppings labeled with custom stickers. The on-demand kit deliveries inspired excitement and quality user-generated content.
