Senior Sales Representative - Doorstep (Logistics/3PL) - Lexington

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial Senior Sales Representative to play a crucial role in expanding our Doorstep customer base. The role involves developing and executing innovative sales initiatives, formulating and implementing a sales and growth roadmap, and building and leading a sales team to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy with a revenue target (TBD).
  • Build and grow the customer base through innovative and effective sales initiatives tailored for the 3PL industry.
  • Collaborate with VP, Doorstep to create 1-to-5-year sales and growth roadmap for Doorstep.
  • Lead, manage, and expand the sales team, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with the overall objectives of Doorstep.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of 3PL services, including the nuances of WMS and TMS.
  • Establish and track sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Represent Doorstep in industry events and networking opportunities as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the 3PL or logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of WMS and TMS.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
